"Moving a Soul Through a Trapdoor of Observations and Moments in Time:
A Biography"
Tim Hein, a New York native, began writing his own music as a teenager in his self-searching years. In high school, and later while attending college, Tim expanded his musical horizons, performing in a number of garage bands, recording a few demos, and gigging around the Northeast. He returned to New York after earning a degree in history, and re-connected with his roots as a singer/songwriter. Tim worked to perfect his own brand of “alternative folk rock” at open mics and coffeehouses on Long Island, but was soon playing at renowned venues in New York, such as The 169 Bar, The Crazy Donkey, the Vibe Lounge, and more. Tim’s enthralling stage presence and honest lyrics are reminiscent of his influences, including Bruce Springsteen, Ryan Adams, and Pearl Jam. In 2009, he relocated to Wilmington, Delaware, and is now making his way through the Philadelphia music scene, while occasionally performing in New York with long-time friend and fellow musician, Nave Strauss.
